As seekers, we live life searching for our truth. Very often in families, unspoken, unexpressed assumptions become the foundation of these truths. Truths that are never expressed; but which inform all our actions and reactions, until we drift away into cages of our own making; each one of us wrapped in our denials, silences, shame and fear of stigma. Set within one triggering event, Ghat Ghat mein Panchi Bolta Hai is a collection of letters between two families, three generations and nine characters, coming apart at their seams and spiralling to the desperation of questions, wanting to discover their truth. Exploring, examining, reflecting, musing; each one sitting on the high seat of judgement, searching for the right side of wrong.
