Lakhnu Village

Format: Social Art Intervention | Cause: WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) | Client: Curtin University | Year: 2017

Through a Social Arts for Behaviour Change project at Lakhnu Village, Uttar Pradesh, we produced a theatrical event that would reinforce aspects of sanitation and health behaviour to children and villagers. This was a large undertaking that involved Curtin University, BNCA College Pune and Lakhnu village students to improve sanitation and health . In a very short time, we moulded students without theatre training into a group that was very effective in conveying WASH behaviours to villagers.
